Ipsy ipsy ipsy!

Seriously ladies, ipsy is awesome. I've always wanted to join but couldn't justify it until now. Mostly because I decided $10 for a bunch of products that will make me super giddy each month is totally worth it, and I haven't been let down! I signed up and got my first bag in February but I feel like now that I've reviewed a few months worth of products they are starting to understand what I want and like. I absolutely love that it is tailored to me and my interests.
Here is MY bag this month:
First of all, let's chat about this clutch. It's so stinking cute! I was just thinking today that I need to out a makeup bag in my purse because my last lipsense gloss is nowhere to be found. That's the second gloss that has gone missing. Such a bummer. But I digress. The bag is absolutely perfect for summer and I just know I will get a ton of compliments on it, and if not who cares? I love it.
Second is the Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank blush brush. When I saw on the sneak peak that there was a Lisa Frank item my jaw dropped. I was so excited about it. It is a gorgeous pure white with a bright pink tip and features unicorns. I thought it was Markie at first glance but it looks revamped and more feminine. It's so perfect.
Next is the Theorie Marula oil. This hair oil claims to add shine, soften strands and even protect from heat. I'm not as excited about this one, as hair products aren't really my thing, but I did bleach some peekaboos recently and they are feeling pretty fried now, so I'll probably try it out just in those spots. My hair is fine and thin and slippery, so I don't think I need anything to weigh it down.
The Hey Honey Besame Mucho lip balm is intriguing. It comes in a squeeze tube. It contains propolis, which is an extract from a beehive that is antibacterial and hydrating. Seriously, what aren't bees good at? Hug a bee today. (But don't really...) I am a lip balm hoarder and ever since I moved down to California's wind tunnel I've needed it constantly. Hoping for a winner with this one!
The next product is a long lasting eyeshadow tin from PEEK beauty. It is this gorgeous bronze color that swatches pretty nicely. It's very creamy and I can't wait to try it out!
Left: Peek beauty eyeshadow
Right: Ciate London Bronzer

Ok so I got another bronzer. Last month I got the Balm cosmetics Bahama Mama. It's a really nice color but the tin was so small it was super hard to get out. This Ciate London Bronzer in the color Palm Island look fantastic. It's smooth and creamy and a great light tan. The product claims to soothe and smooth complexion with amaranth and sunflower extracts and will also control oil. Hopefully it works well because my fivehead gets so oily towards the end of the day.
So that's my April ipsy bag! I will post my thoughts and experiences with each of these products towards the end of the month.
