Bombshell products under $10

Anyone who knows me knows I love a good deal. The majority of my wardrobe comes from thrift and consignment stores.
After I got married, my husband slowly taught me the value of buying good quality products when it counts. But good quality doesn't always mean a hefty price tag. And sometimes a hefty price tag doesn't mean it's extra special.
So this post is going to focus on incredible makeup products under $10! I think each drugstore product does at least one thing exceptionally. But who has the time or money to try out everything to find those diamonds in the rough?
So I am going to start from the bottom up. Foundation! There is of course the usual Loreal Infallible Pro-Matte or Pro-Glow formulas. This guy has medium to full coverage depending on how you build it up. I love the pro-matte formula because I have an oily t-zone and it stays on my face all day! This one is $10 and change on Amazon.
The next foundation is one I just started using that I was pretty skeptical about. It's the e.l.f. Studio Flawless Finish Foundation. It has spf 15 which I love. I need to be using spf more often especially now that it is warming up in California! It has light to medium coverage so this is more of my every day foundation. It is much more dewy than I am used to since I typically stick with matte formulas, but I love it. It feels very hydrating. Plus I ordered this one online and guessed on my color and it is basically the same color as my skin. It's pretty incredible how close it is! It also comes in a glass bottle with a pump. E.l.f. really knocked it out of the park with this guy and it is only $6!
Catrice liquid high coverage concealer is everything. Everything you guys! One layer will cover basically anything, but since it is waterproof it dries down a bit and you can then later it if you have any stubborn spots. It is the best concealer I have ever used. Definitely holy Grail status.
Moving on the powders I recently bought Essence's All About Matt mattifying finishing pressed powder. This powder is so soft and super cheap. It's $3.99 on Ulta's website which is where I purchased it. I like that I don't have to dig it out of the pan like a different matte pressed powder I was using. It just works, which is all I ask in a finishing powder. Can't go wrong with four bucks.
Next is an eyeshadow pallete! So fun!! I am really loving the wet n Wild au naturale palette. It comes with 10 pans of warm neutral eyeshadows. The black is really impressive. I think the best way to check pigmentation and blendability with a brand's eyeshadow is to try their matte black. If it's patchy then move on! But the black in this palette is super pigmented and really easy to blend! Perfection!
The last product I'm going to talk about is the queen among queens of volumizing mascara. Pack it in folks, there is no need to make any other mascaras because this one is everything. I think I got my first Loreal Voluminous Mascara for free off of some couponing site. I was skeptical, but decided to be open minded. The first time I put it on that was it. This is my holy Grail mascara. It has a full fluffy spoolie applicator that always has the perfect amount of product on it. It doesn't clump and will give you falsie fullness with one layer. Extra layers will give you extra length as well. This stuff is incredible. It's only $5.84 at Walmart and around the same on Amazon. Definitely try it out if you don't have a mascara that you are super passionate about!

That's it for now! I will be doing another one of these amazing bargain products soon. I didn't want to make this post too long! Remember to follow me on Instagram: poshmedee
Happy St. Patrick's day!

  1. This is a really pretty look on you! I agree that affordable makeup is just as good or sometimes even better than the high end version.
